Development of Stair Design


The stairs which lead to the upper studio space. (Rumination) The tread and the rise are constructed of concrete to maintain material fluidity within the model.

The staircase which leads to the lower studio space. (Tantalize) The spiral staircase evokes a tantalizing sense, utilizing a custom texture (Luster) and a glass balustrade.
