Cousteau's laboratory, behind the vertical surface, maintains an emphasis on exploration. The ramp has been incorporated as a core element to the space itself as it leads down towards the initial laboratory. The journey has been depicted here as an equally integral concept to one's explorations. Furthermore there is a sense of seductiveness as evidenced within the use of a darker tunnel - indicative of the overpowering nature of any explorational quest.
